Redesigning this AV equipment presented itself with an opportunity to design a product that broke the monotony of the office and the market within the professional AV hardware category. The brainstorming started with breaking the equipment down to its tiniest component and repositioning it within the industrial design and engineering framework. The goal was simple, create a product that packed the capability of taking on the heavy-duty work of a corporate office in its organic form while remaining manufacturable and robust. Exploring multiple form generations and micro detailing furthered that vision of delivering a distinctly looking, fresh aesthetic experience to the client within a production-ready product design process.
